A new book from Sydney Banks and Keith Blevens, Ph.D., in preparation at The Hidden Cause. It isn’t out yet — but you can be the first to know when it is.

Born from conversations between Sydney Banks and clinical psychologist Keith Blevens, Ph.D., this remarkable collaboration brings together two very different paths to understanding the human mind. Banks reflects upon the life-changing realization he experienced in 1973 and the discovery of three universal principles — Mind, Consciousness, and Thought — which he believed revealed the missing foundation of psychology. Blevens brings the questions and perspective of a psychologist whose professional training was profoundly challenged, and ultimately transformed, by what he heard.

Through wide-ranging conversations and stories, the authors explore how Thought brings each person’s reality to life, how levels of Consciousness shape what we are able to see, and how Universal Mind connects us to a deeper intelligence and wisdom. They consider the relationship between mind and brain, the limitations of continually returning to the past, the difference between intellectual knowledge and insight, and the danger of turning a living understanding into another technique. Both mystical and practical, the book invites readers to look beyond what appears wrong with people and toward the clarity, freedom, and mental health that have never truly left them.
